STALL RENTAL AGREEMENT

2008 Season

Please indicate stall preference. We will do our best to accommodate your selection but stalls are on a first come first PAID basis. No stalls saved without payment.

Stall rental fees: $15 per day $18 per show weekend $30 for the season

We ask that stalls be cleaned after use either per show or per season, and the manure disposed of in designated area. 

Stall rental agreement: I understand and assume responsibility for the cleanliness of my rental stall, and further agree that if any damage or loss shall occur to any horse or property while implementing this agreement, I will make no claim thereof, and will indemnify Pine and Spurs Riding Club, Inc., horse show committee and officials against all claims caused by my horse, attendants or myself.

I further understand payment of a stall for the entire show season entitles me to use the stall(s) during Pine and Spurs shows or other events, and that I may place a lock on my stall(s) for the season, so long as I provide the Stall Chair with a duplicate key or the combination. I further understand that in the event that I do not use my stall(s) for the show, the Stall Chair may rent my stall to another exhibitor for that show, and any rental fees collected by Pine and Spurs is the club property. If I do not plan to use my stall(s), I will contact the Stall Chair before the show date. Refunds of stalls are made only upon the presentation of a Vet Certificate or Physician’s Certificate or at the discretion of the Board of Directors.

WARNING: Under Maine Law, AN EQUINE PROFESSIONAL, EQUINE ACTIVITY SPONSOR OR ANY OTHER PERSON ENGAGED IN AN EQUINE ACTIVITY, HAS LIMITED LIABILITY FOR ANY DAMAGES, INJURY OR DEATH RESULTING FROM THE INHERENT RISK OF EQUINE ACTIVITIES. 

A. The propensity of an equine to behave in ways that may result in damages to property, injury, harm or death to persons around the equine.

B. The unpredictability of an equine’s reaction to such things as sounds, sudden movement and unfamiliar objects, persons or other animals.

C. Certain hazards, such as surface or subsurface conditions.

D. Collisions with other equines or objects; and unpredictable or erratic actions by others relating to equine behavior
